Environmental Desert Cultural Research Center located at 6500' elevation in Northeast Nevada. Ongoing experiments into water collection, remote wildlife filming and the recording of local oral histories and desert hermit manifestos are the current focus of funded research.
We’ve chosen a hidden fastener system for the roof membrane. Steel standing seam in Polar White, for maximum performance and thermal efficiency. Chef and Engineer C. Harper and Chief Scientist O. Wright will first frame and sheath the roof using timbers and found materials at the High Desert Materials Depot. Expedition begins September 14th.
